Welcome Generations Credit Union Members!

On December 1, 2019 Generations became part of Community 1st Credit Union. The members of Generations approved the merger at a special membership meeting on November 15, 2018. This merger will enable the organizations to achieve healthy growth and provide better services to members. We are all excited for the bright future this union presents for all of our members and employees.

Because of our similar philosophies and shared cooperative values, Community 1st Credit Union and Generations Credit Union are in a unique position to build an organization founded on excellence and trust. These are the same values that created our respective credit unions many decades ago and sustained us over the years.

Community 1st recognizes and values the success and long history of Generations Credit Union.  We're thrilled to announce that the Generations name and identity will continue on, in the manner of the Network Credit Union Model.  The Olympia branch will operate under the trade name, “Generations, a Division of Community 1st Credit Union.” You'll see the same faces when you come in to the branch, the name over the door will still say Generations, and you'll continue to receive the same high level of member service you've come to expect since Generations began operation as Employment Security Credit Union in 1939.
